Animoz Launches Technical Riding Wear Range

You've probably already seen our lifestyle clothing worn by some of the top riders in the DH and Enduro World Cups during track walk or in the paddock. We were fed up with staying at the bottom of the slopes so we decided to launch our technical MTB range while keeping to our codes and values.

Made from recycled polyester from plastic bottles, our WILD range offers an eco-friendly and stylish alternative to current products on the market.

ECOLOGICAL

Made from recycled polyester (REPREVE = plastic bottle) and elastane, our range is part of an eco-responsible approach by respecting our Green Ride Label (recycled materials and eco-friendly treatments). Our products are packaged and shipped in Kraft envelopes to avoid any plastic.

DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY

The aesthetics of the garments are inspired by our Lifestyle designs. The products have been designed to be easy to put on and comfortable. The slim fit keeps the aerodynamics in check. Many features have been integrated into the jerseys as well as the trousers and shorts to make the rider's daily life easier: a microfiber cloth to clean the glasses, zipped waterproof pockets and compatible gloves for the screens. For long rides in the saddle, we offer shorts and trousers with removable Inner. Our garments are sometimes made of several different fabrics and materials to ensure the best possible comfort and robustness. The colors are: Burgundy/Camo, Blue/Camo, Camel, Black and Grey.

TECHNOLOGIES

When developing our WILD range, we wanted to focus on the technical nature of the products by meeting the main expectations of cyclists: comfort, functionality and durability. It is in this context that we have developed the SBT "Suitable Bike Technology" charter. The trousers, shorts and jerseys have a 4WAY Stretch fabric for perfect flexibility. The anti-microbial and quick-drying "SILVERPLUS" and "HYDROCOOL" treatments used for our trousers and shorts meet various health requirements to ensure healthy use.

PANT

The Animoz SHREDDER pants have been thoroughly tested and designed for versatile Enduro/DH use. They combine durability, comfort and lightweight, while being environmentally friendly. Made of 92% of GRS certified Recycled Polyester and 8% of Spandex, these pants have TEFLON™ water repellent. The inner shorts are made of 86% of Polyester and 14% of Spandex. Its attach system makes it totally detachable. These pants are 4 way stretch and made with double stitching for better strength. The knee part has been developed for better mobility thanks to additional seams adapted to the movements of the leg. Permanent ventilation of the pants is ensured by a laser cut placed behind the knees. Designed to be as lasting as possible, the fabric is resistant and will limit abrasion, wear and tears.

Several pockets have been designed for more convenience. In addition to two classic easy-access pockets, the SHREDDER pants have two waterproof zipped pockets on the sides and one on the back to store your items safely. The SHREDDER pants can be bought with removable inner shorts, allowing you to wear it or not depending on your needs. Finally, the micrometric closure combined with a Velcro fastener provides a tight fit and good support. The strength of the trousers has been tested by fall experts (see video above).

SHORT

The SKILL shorts have been developed to follow you during your Enduro/MTB rides. Its casual look and removable inner shorts will also allow you to use it in the everyday life. Made of 92% of GRS certified Recycled Polyester and 8% of Spandex, these shorts have HYDROCOOL® Quick Dry and SILVERPLUS® Antibacterial finishes.

The inner shorts are made of 86% of Polyester and 14% of Spandex. Its attach system makes it totally detachable. The SKILL shorts benefit from double stitching to reinforce the areas exposed to wear. Made from lightweight and 4 way stretch fabric, these shorts are flexible and comfortable to wear. Permanent ventilation of the shorts is ensured by a laser cut placed on the thighs, helping you stay cool. Several pockets have been designed for more convenience. In addition to two easy-to-access classic pockets, the SKILL shorts have two zipped side pockets and one on the back to safely store your items. The SKILL shorts can be bought with removable inner shorts, allowing you to wear it or not depending on your needs. Finally, the micrometric closure combined with a Velcro closure allows a tight adjustment and good support.

JERSEYS

Ideal for all your trips, the jersey is designed to offer the best comfort/ lightweight/resistance ratio. The main fabric is 92% REPREVE® certified Recycled Polyester and 8% Spandex. It also has quick dry and antibacterial finishes. The fabric of the long sleeves is made of 90% Recycled Polyester (GRS certified) and 10% Spandex. It has HYDROCOOL® quick dry and SILVERPLUS® antibacterial finishes. Made from lightweight and 4 way stretch fabric, the jersey is flexible and comfortable to wear. Breathable and quick dry, it effectively wicks away perspiration to keep you dry. In addition, a laser cut has been placed on the long sleeves, allowing permanent ventilation.

The jersey is designed with a zipped hip pocket to slip your credit card or lift pass. You will also find a microfiber piece of fabric on the bottom of the jersey; ideal for cleaning your glasses or mask. Resistant, the material of the long sleeves will limit abrasion, wear and tears. This jersey is also compatible with back protectors.

GLOVES

The gloves have been designed uncompromisingly and combine dexterity and resistance. The gloves are soft and lightweight. The top material is 4 way stretch and the palm material is resistant and anti-abrasive to increase the durability of the glove. A reinforcement has also been added between the thumb and index finger. The Velcro closure on the top of the wrist allows an optimal support without disturbing the mobility of the wrist. An absorbent piece of fabric is located on the outside of the thumb.

The seams of the gloves have been made with elastic threads, which makes them stronger. Finally, silicone pads have been added on the thumb, index and middle finger for optimal grip. Plus, the screen touch technology will allow you to use your smartphone without having to remove your gloves.
