The Tipping Point at X-Dance Film Festival

Ventura, CA – The Tipping Point , Clay Porter
Productions 2009 feature release, has been selected for the 2010 X-Dance Film
Festival January 21 – 26 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Launched in 2001 and coinciding each year with America’s
largest independent film festival, Sundance, X-Dance showcases some of the
world’s most progressive action sports filmmakers and creates an opportunity for
outdoor sports enthusiasts to view these films and interact with the athletes
and creators of those projects.  With roots in both the core and mainstream
markets, no other event on earth harnesses the creative energy of adrenaline
culture like the X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival.

On Thursday January 21 Clay Porter, along
with a key group of influential industry supporters, will make their way from
sunny Southern California to snow covered Salt Lake City.  The Tipping Point
director Clay Porter had this to say about his nomination, “I’m thrilled to be
selected for X-Dance, it’s really the biggest film festival in the world for
action sports filmmakers. As an action sports film super fan, it’s quite an
honor to be selected among filmmakers who I grew up being inspired by and
continued to be inspired by. It’s also quite humbling to create the first film
about downhill mountain bike racing ever to be selected”.

Clay Porter will join notable action sports directors
such as Warren Miller, Taylor Steele and Thomas Cambell during the 5-Day
festival.

Join Clay when The Tipping Point screens at X-Dance’s
opening night, Thursday, January 21st, at 5:40 P.M. in downtown Salt Lake City,
UT at The Off Broadway Theatre located at 272 S. Main Street.  Director Clay
Porter will be on hand for the film’s screening and post-screening Q & A
session.
