I have a Mavic Deemax pro Sam Hill rear wheel. Changed the cassette and the freewheel body just pulls off with it with no resistance (made it hard to separate from the old cassette).
I'm pretty sure this should be retained to the hub somehow, and concerned something has fallen off and gone AWOL.
This is the exploder diagram and everything seems to be there that I can see - anyone any ideas?

It should just pull off. No lock ring or clips to hold it on. It's very similar to the DT Swiss freehubs.
Mine just pulls off but its tight and requires a decent grab. What driver are you using? Shimano HG? Those things used on always get cut into by the cassette (at least on Hope hubs) and be a nightmare to separate the cassette from. If its, XD it the cassette should come off easy though.
