What's up fellas,
So I'm looking at a 2019 Specialized Demo 29, which is the first year of the 29 Demo that does not have the chainstay adjustments to switch between mullet and 29. Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit the chainstay from a new 2020+ Demo onto the 2019 frame, thus allowing you to run mullet? If not, is there another solution to this?
Also, Specialized say that they changed the suspension kinematics slightly for the 2020+ version with the chainstay adjustments, but I cannot find any details on the specific changes anywhere. Does anyone know the exact suspension kinematic changes they made to the 2020+ version, or does anyone have experience with both versions?
Hey mate, did you ever find an answer here, I’m currently looking at a possible conversion but can’t find any data.
I did not, the Demo that I was trying to buy got sold to someone else, so I never did any further research
