Im going to build an old schwinn klunker with 27.5 rear wheel and 29 front. eith a Manitou Markor fork, XT disc brakes and XT cranks. wondering if anyone else has one or suggestions ? pics would help
Mine's a '56 that I got for $20. Powder coated gloss black. It's got Profile SS cranks, homemade super wide bars (Previously cut down Atom Labs bars that I widened by three inches on each side.) and an old Hannebrink USD DH fork that I made a custom one inch steer tube for. All rolling on Maxxis Hookworms. I'm not good with electronic pictures and such, but I live in Oceano. DM me and swing on by. I wonder if we've met at Art's?
If you don't have a rear brake mount, run a Sturmey drum brake. I run them front and back on my old Klunker and they have a ton of power over the other options. They have one with an HG freehub body.
