I just bought a Scott Spark and the front fork is a bit too soft for me. How much bigger can I go on the front end of this thing without compromising anything? is 120 the max i can throw on there? or should i throw a 26" front wheel on it and go 170mm and make it look like one of the bmx bikes from gummo.

If it's too soft (by which I assume you mean you're using the travel too quickly/easily), try pumping the fork up if it's air sprung or getting a firmer spring if it's coil sprung.

Is it possible to run a 120 air on the spark?

You're on the 29er model, yeah? Swapping the stock 100mm travel fork for a 120mm will slacken the head angle slightly (a good thing imo) and raise the bottom bracket height a tad. The Spark's bottom bracket is quite low to begin with, so that should be fine.

Yeah. 29er. Thanks for the answer. Appreciate it.
