Lift Ticket Prices Vs Available Terrain

Edited Date/Time 8/15/2014 5:58am
Three bike parks will be open in Colorado this weekend, with two offering discounted tickets for not being able to open all their trails.

Keystone: Open from midpoint down, $25/$40
Granby: South trails open, $20/$28
Trestle: Rumor has it that 5 points down will be open, $39

So, who thinks that lift ticket prices should vary based on percentage of the terrain that is available. Obviously this benefits riders in the short term, but does it benefit us in the long term? This is a relatively new thing to see and I believe comes from increasing competition between parks.

Yeesh, only 5-points down at Trestle? Surely something must be open from the top to 5-points...

I'll be at Granby in a month using my Mtb Gravity Card...that changes up the price list up there! lol
