Fox 40 cracked crown

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem - lower crown on my 40 cracked clean in half - never crashed or had a mishap with the fork - I was pedaling to the lift when I heard a loud cracking noise looked over the bike on the lift and Holy shit - crack
It's a 2016 forty on a v10
