Creaking While Pedaling ?

I only did 10 miles yesterday and this bike is only new to me since April 2015. Yesterday i started to get popping and creaking noises when I had to go up a hill or really pushing it. I think its coming from the Crankshaft, has anyone had this happen to them? I am brining it back to the place I bought it from to see what the deal is... I have only done 85 miles with this bike i cant believe that I broke something!

it may just need some initial adjustment/lube after the first assembly in the bottom bracket area. this video may help, but all bikes will creak if not maintained. wet or dusty environments mean more maintenance. i'm not saying you haven't maintained yours b/c it's so new, but a good chance nothing is broken.

Try tightening the crank shaft bolts (Allens). That happened to me and that was the problem. They must just work themselves loose over time.

That was a Awesome video thanks! I do have one Free visit for a tune up, so i am going to take it in. Then i need to really learn things to take the Bike apart and fix stuff myself! Its hard when you work tho to go home and do this stuff at night! I am also going to look into getting Shox for the Bike! What type do you guys recommend?
