I’ve been riding mtb for the past couple years since I’ve been kinda getting outta of motocross and I just recently went to snowshoe mtb in West Virginia very fun mountain bike park with big jumps and rough trails and I recommend. But the problem I had is I run flats and hitting the black trails I noticed my foot kept slipping, so I looked into clip in pedals and after some research and good deals I bought these Pedals . I was just wonder what kind of clip in mtb shoes you guys recommend. I really like the five tens with the big bottoms and look like tennis shoes.

EDIT:
Ooops, I responded and totally missed your actual question!
I like the Five Tens, for sure. I doubt you'll hear any complaints from anyone about that brand. I run the Maltese Falcon Race shoes myself.

I’ve just dipped toe back into the pool of clipless pedals and went for the XT leaks with the Minnaar 5:10 shoes, they seem good so far but I’m like bambi on ice with the trepidation I have in using them!
