How do I take Apart the Suspension linkage on a 2005 Gary Fisher Cake?

No real suspension linkage on that bike; just a pivot at the bottom and the pivot bolt at the shock. Remove the bolts and use some grease to reassemble.
There are probably bearings in the frame you may need to tap out and re-grease.
