Friday night downhill racing is on here in Snowmass. We had our first race Friday night on our new trail Sway with a whooping 12 racers. 9 for mens open, 2 juniors and 1 women. Each cat has a $100 first $50 second $25 third prize. $25 gets you a lift ticket and race fee for the day. Hope to see some more people out next Friday.

Hey, Just curious if this will be going on again next season? 2011?

Also where are the races being promoted? Team Geronimo is based in the Basalt/Carbondale area and we'd definitely show up. But I don't think any of us knew about this one last summer...

This will be going next year. It didn't really get promoted too much last season, more word of mouth than anything. Hopefully we can get some more racers next year.
