Another question. Is it possible to use fork like yours (180mm fox 36) with zs bottom headset cup? I mean if you turn handlebar 90 degree left or right is there enough space between crown and downtube? How much space is there? Thanx
Hi, it is definitely possible to ride this bike on flat roads or even uphill. How fast depends on your personal fitness level. Based on my bike specs, what you can do to improve on the weight and make it more pedal friendly is change the fork to an air fork, or preferably the FOX 36 Talas 140-180mm. When riding to your trails or uphill, you can drop down the travel to 140mm. The Talas is also a lighter fork.
Hi. Is your build ok for riding uphill or almost flat? I mean is it impossible\almost impossible\ possible but not fast? (I understand that 180ΠΌΠΌ front travel is alot for uphill, but...) Asking just cause planning to buld something like your build, on the same frame. And it will be great if I'll be able to ride from home to spot and back again on this bike (almost flat road, few uphills) some how. Not just puling it uphill on my back. Thank not ok for me to build it only for dh. Thanks.
