Ahhh good to know. I seem to sit between spring rates, going by a few calculators, but hadn't thought about shock tune. Thanks again!

My LBS was able to call Ohlins and get a special tune on my coil shock. Not something you will get by purchasing online.

Thanks, will definitely mull over it. The current Float X on the bike is "fine" but feels like it's missing something.

It’s great. Coils are more predictable IMO. Definitely better on small bumps and chattery trails. More traction when climbing. I like to set and forget. I am running the Cascade MX link, which adds more progression and mid-stroke support. Might feel wallowy or blow through travel without it. Something to consider.

Yes there is slight problem with the dials. The latest version of SDLX (and also Vivid) shock has its dials little bit wider and moved slightly above shock. And when you keep original dial for LSC, it hits the frame. So I took it down and asked my friend to do custom one on 3D printer (it is not pictured here, I received it few days back). And it works great.

Love the bike! I'm looking to upgrade to the vivid coil shock on my jekyll and noticed yours is missing the compression dial. Wondered if that's due to frame limitations or custom shock setup?

This is the case of getting enough speed, not the size of the gap. And if some of the fastest racers in the world have issues getting speed, you think it would be otherwise for Fest people? The run ins at Fest are all smooth and clean. Not the case here. All the top 80 racers could clear any gap at Fest any time. Not sure if the guys from Fest would make the cut in the finals at a World Cup. Though, I have full respect and apreciation for both of them. The gaps aren't babies, and it's not...
