vikapproved Added a comment about video E-Bike Allows Cam & Tyler McCaul's Dad to Ride With Them

Yup. I can rock climb super steep faces any more like I did when I was younger. You know what my first thought isn't to install bolts and an electric assist winch so I can hangout with my friends/family that are still killing it on the climbs. This idea that we all have to be able to do everything until our last breathe is BS. I'd have more sympathy for it if it wasn't straight up marketing for a product we didn't need, but that's what it is.

Cool. I'd start with a 150mm Pike. The 160mm airshaft is not a big change if needed. I don't ride Prevost, but Forbidden is one of my favourite places to ride. I'm currently on a 160/155mm Pivot Mach 6 and I'll keep that bike as my winter ride.

Thanks for the review. I'm interested in this bike for day-to-day AM trail use on Van Isle with a 150mm fork. I was a bit concerned it was too DH focused and not climb friendly enough, but that doesn't sound like the case. Which is cool.

vikapproved Added a comment about product review Atlas 2014

I've got 2.5 months of wet rocky riding on some Atlas pedals. They weigh 344g - a tad lighter than noted above and have zero play. The pedals have been constantly wet and hammered into rocks more than I care to remember. They've been great so far.
