Thanks for the insight. I'm on an XL '18 Enduro right now with 483mm reach and a 50mm stem. I'd prefer a longer bike, so I may end up on an S6 with 25-30mm slammed in there.

I'm only 6' and 33" inseam, but prefer a long reach. Fit is fine. Put a 40mm stem and it's perfect. It's a long bike but i have no problem clearing tight switchbacks as I did with my Large Norco Range which has a shorter wheelbase. I also didn't want a lot of seatpost sticking out if I went with an s4. You should be ok with either s5 or s6. Maybe s6 if you like longer bikes.
