Hi Fury25: Love the build -- SUPERB !!!!!! Question: I note that the front BOS fork has a colour scheme that matches the "BLACK / BLUE / WHITE" colour theme across the rest of the bike. I am confused ?!!?!? If you look at the BOS webpage, the only colour scheme available for this fork is "BLACK / RED / WHITE". How did you get the BOS fork colour scheme to be "BLACK / BLUE / WHITE" ???? . .
look into the design reasons of the saddle before you bag it -- I looked into this a while back. It's designed to minimise pressure on the perineum -- reviews a the time were positive, supposedly works. Saddle is "A" grade: (a) carbon fibre (b) titanium rails (c) very light and stiff (d) perineum protection while still offerring a "nose" on the saddle to assist rider with control
Hi tp806 -- I agree with you totally. Looks like you have to conform to what is currently "hot" , otherwise the "sheep" on this forum cannot think independently for themselves !!!
watch your tongue milanulrichcz ! Iceman2058 knows a good thing when he sees it. Just like I do -- I just wish I had the $$$ to build something as visionary as this bike.
me thinks you be a bit silly with this comment :-) The biggest issue riding this bike is *** NOT *** the "feeling of being a complete poser". Instead, the biggest issue is riding this bike with a permanent hard-on, knowing that this bike looks sexier than most women you will ever have the pleasure of bonking !!! Can I please politely suggest and strongly recommend that you go on a threesome date with "top-rider" and "DerrickDel" -- you should all get along fine.
The bike has obvioulsy been built to a personal taste. Also, if you pay attention, it's been built to be as "bullet proof" as possible ... while still looking sexy :-) Obviously, weight considerations have not been the priority. This build will make sure you enjoy your ride and rarely ever have to walk the bike back to the starting line due to "weaker" (but lighter) component choices !!!!!!! It's a very reliable, strong build -- that looks damn good at the same time.
"Who still uses a hammerschmidt" I do !! Why ?? -- because of: (a) safer on your legs if you fall on the front rings (because the teeth are embedded into the hammerschmidt) (b) safer on the back of your calfs of your leg if you have an abrupt stop while your feet are off the pedals (once again, because the teeth are embedded into the hammerschmidt) (b) more positive (i.e. less fiddling) front ring gear changes -- superb -- this is just great !! (c) looks sexy !!! (d) bulletproof -- enclosed and very well protected mechanism (e) built...
