The third instalment of the annual EzelEnduro went down this past weekend, delivering the predicted intensity and a record attendance with another new face on the top of the podium. A shortened distance of 36 km and a reduced number of stages meant things were a little easier this year-round compared to 2016, however, the traditional EzelEnduro-sting-in-the-tail that is stage 4 and 5 still remained in place to separate the men from the boys. Ike, what promise this guy has! Living out on a farm in Vuurberg, an hour out of Cape Town, he has a playground any 12 year old shredder could only dream of. Over the last couple of years, local building OG Bennet Nel has been carving lines into their local hill with features that progress with Ike's riding. 2016 was a successful year for Ike, he travelled to Europe to compete in the U13 World Cup, where he grabbed the top step! THANKS VITAL MTB !!!!! So many of the entries were kick ass!!!! Almost every video got me amped up to ride and a number of them I watched over and over. If I had to pick a favorite shot it would have to be Kurt's high speed drift......I watched that scene more times than I can count. I look forward to tearing it up on my new ride and will start working on a follow up vid right away!! Thanks again.
