Jeff, first off this has been one of the best write-ups I've seen on a new bike! I'm stoked to find a review from a bigger guy. I'm 6'2" and 220 so it's hard to know how a bike will handle the extra weight when most of the bike testers out there are 5'8" and 160. Nothing wrong with that just not a lot of big guys writing reviews I guess... I'm looking forward to the long term review. Sounds like it held up pretty well for the short time you had it.
