This design doesn't use a derailleur, hence "gearbox". The disc mount can be positioned from a simple template. I can't tell from the picture of this one if the mount is welded to the swingarm or bolted to a rail (which would allow for an adjustable position)... The ardents are pretty good, but not quite enough on the local mountain trails... I run those on my DJ. The all mountain rig runs Maxxis DHF 2.35" and High Roller 2.35" treads, never anything else. Nevegals just don't cut it in my mind, and the WTB treads break-out in hard corners too much (tho I haven't tried the latest...

These guys kick ass... the terrain could easily be somewhere in the Colorado Frontrange, which just begs the question, why the hell don't we have any trails like this one?
