Interesting that they've kept the old impact, and not replaced fully by the Impact VXI. I noticed Mr Hill never swapped to the new ones and preferred the "old" classics. I love the new lighter impact, but they are dreadful for longevity. I've never been one to complain about Five tens wearing out quickly (what other shoe do you own, that gets that much abuse, rain and shine week in, week out) ... but my soles are peeling off after only a few months!

Might just be me being a dunce, but is it 170mm travel, adjustable to 135? Also, sorry to compare to a stumpy, but the main reason I won;t buy a stumpjumper, is because of the proprietary shock mount. Will you be able to mount any other after-market shocks on this?
