MPH24 makes a very valid point. I don't know many people in the western world who want to hand lay carbon and wear a mask all day (not to mention repeating the same task over and over and over). The same could be said for aluminum frames. Not a very attractive workplace. Jobs are great and all, but careers today are not made from working on an assembly line. You need skills. Be those technical skills, retail skills or whatever... the bang out a thousand of the same model jobs are dead and/or dying.

Are these jobs people actually want? Our economy is changing and I am not convinced people want a career building bike frames when every year those frames are getting closer to being to be built by robots. That will bring a new type of job to the bike building processs
