As a personal friend to Dak who knew him before he became a pro DH racer, the dude is a beast on equipment. His mx bikes back in the day were pushed to the limit. Nothing different with his bikes today. Dude rides hard... Plus have you seen the DH trails at Windrock? Not exactly the easiest thing on bikes especially when you are training and riding on them 7 days a week like he is... This is probably his trainer bike, the race rigs I assume will be bright, shiny, and new.
