I first started mountain biking in 1984 when I bought my first bike, a Univega Alpina Uno! It was great bike and seemed to go anywhere! Most of my time over the years has been spent riding cross country........... until now!! I switched from a cross country race bike to a long travel Rocky Slayer SXC. This past summer, I had the good fortune to ride with some guys from Rocky Mountain Bicycles and from the local Rocky Dealer, ChainLine Cycles. I was invited to demo a Flatline at Highland Mountain Bike Park. Living just a mere 20 minutes away, I took the opportunity. After one day of riding, I was hooked! I now work at Highlands where I'm a DH coach and currently riding a 2012 Transition TR-450. Some days I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm really "working" while riding a mountain bike!
