Maverick, the Kali Avatar doesn't meet the more-stringent ASTM DH standard, which is what the guy said (and what you really want to wear)...I ride the Giro Remedy Carbon which is 900grams...that's 100 grams lighter, but Specialized has a habit of stretching the truth. I'll admit the Giro looks a little tired but it still looks better than that thing.
