For 2014 we are proud to announce Dean Lucas as a factory Rowney Sports Rider. We will provide full support through the Australian National Series, Victorian State Series, National Championships, and Ocianas. RSC9 wheels have been in the works for a little over a year now, including in the field testing by our athletes. Our 25mm wide 29" diameter test wheels, have been punished in XC race bikes, and Enduro bikes. Each wheel is hand laced in our own factory, using DT Swiss Pro-loc nipples, and DT Swiss Champion spokes for maximum longevity. There are also two hub options. DT Swiss 350 or 240 hubs. Race day always holds and air of anticipation. This being Dean Lucas' first time in the Elite mens category, we were eager to see where he'd place along side some big names. After seeding 4th on Saturday, he picked up a puncture in his practice run, which was good to get out of the way. Come race run, he showed strong composure to remain on the podium in 4th place behind Connor Fearon, Troy Brosnan, and Jush Button.
