Good call, sometimes you just have to work with nature, especially this year with a record-breaking snow pack. The upper Colorado River basin snow pack is more than 200% of the 30 year average.

One of the main differences between the big parks and Sol Vista is at SV you will not run into a bunch of Gomers stopped in the middle of a trail wondering how in the hell they will get down the mountain.
