5/12/2015 4:37pm I've been to both places. I'm from San Diego so I'm no local. In my opinion there's good riding near Medford ( Mt. Ashland Was really fun. No lift but there's a shuttle from Ashland mtn adventures). The better riding is near Portland though: sandy ridge was really fun with a ton of options depending on skill or riding style...
