I do not have an ebike, but I am not against them. I see the Positives of them as so much more than the negatives when viewed with an open mind. Of course this monstrosity, you are correct, it is what I do not want to see. Big difference between this and something like the Specialized Levo. Those against ebikes...

I picked up three tires to give a try and see what works best with him. Two Ikon EXO/TR in 29x2.2 and one Ardent Race EXO TR 2.2 We will try dual Ikons and then give the AR fron with the Ikon rear (shamelessly copying the set ups found on the Subaru-MarathonMTB.com team. Thank you for pointing me towards those...

Hey all, my son started racing on his high school team last season as part of NICA. He was very in to it that he sold a dirt bike along with money he saved up so he could buy a Specialized Epic Hardtail. The bike served him well. That said it is time to start looking for new tires for...

Hi all, I am trying to get the word out hoping to get a little bit of help for a small production that showcases High School wrestling in Pennsylvania. I am in no way part of the company, though my son is a Varsity wrestler in Pa. and has been in a few of the live streams. I also coach...

I just recently went from the Enduro (specialized Enduro) and tested many bikes (did a small write up already on that) and ended up going with a Trail bike (stumpjumper Expert w/ carbon wheels, just could not pass up the deal I got on it), 27.5 and 150mm front and rear travel. It works great and I couldn't be happier...
Before buying a new bike this year to replace my 2003 Specialized Enduro 26", I demo'd MANY bikes. I am in Eastern Part of Pa (cab3r15 we are almost neighbors). I rode many 29ers, and a couple of 27.5's. The first 29r I rode was the Niner RDO jet, and it felt like a pig, just did not fit me...

Some of the larger parks bring in temp workers every year, and you cannot ask for some of the most beautiful country to see. Check with Big Bear/Snow Summit, Mammoth Mountain, both are in California and hire fairly large staff for the summer. Boulder and Durango in Colorado also bring in alot of temp workers for the season. As I...

The nuke proof all day. What is up with the neck on the Framed? Honestly looks like a bike you would find at a Dicks Sporting Goods or Walmart. Nukeproof has a proven track record, that $100 difference will be eaten up in upgrading parts if you get the Framed.

When he is registered with the team he will get a discount on certain bikes. Trek is a main NICA sponsor and he will get a good discount there, up to 25%. If you become a coach and bet to Level 2 then you as well get the 25% discount with Trek. Other bike companies will give some discounts, not...

Is this part of NICA? If so what State are you in, our MTB league runs from mid summer through the Fall. As for the bike you are in a tough spot, he will have a growth spurt, and seriously, his Freshman to sophmore year will probably bring a big spurt. That said you can fit a 1x on the...

Well that will garuntee 360 degree pedaling power. We will see quickly if there is any future in it. From a MTB standpoint more weight, and more cost of components. On a cruiser or BMX bike, I can see more viable theory of application.
That may be it, I will try to get a good photo of it, if it shows well in the photo I will post it. The color weirdness does not take away from the fun of the bike though, I just want to be sure it is a cosmetic defect when paying that much for the bike. I can deal...
I just picked up a 2018 Stumpjumper Expert. The bike even with the cold weather here cannot wait to hit the trails. I have the black frame color with the red accents, and I noticed on the frame that it is not a smooth color, almost looks like it is splotchy in places. It made me want to wipe at...

Bianchi is a good brand, and the components on what you linked are decent, so you will not have any problems or regrets with them.

I do not know how I missed your shootout, but I am so glad you linked it. Thank you very much, so now I am looking at the DMR's as well. You have made my choice easy. Thank you very much!!

Hey all, after many years off the MTB (still on a dirt bike though) I started riding again on my really out MTB when my son wanted to start racing MTB's with the school. Loving it once again, so I just purchased a Specialized Stumpjumper Expert, I have been running clipless (cant believe they are still called that after all...
