6/20/2026 9:16am I actually really like riding loose over hard. It’s majority of my summer and fall riding season. I love a good 2 wheel drift session. The Assegai has scared me a few times though.

6/20/2026 8:49am You definitely could be right. That’s just how it felt to me, sorta a float zone between just riding along and fully committing to a corner that I get trapped in and have to just ride it out until the tire hopefully catches.

Thanks for the information. That’s very helpful. As someone who bruised my kneecap for well over a month crashing on hard dirt wearing the previous stage knee pads, I’m not a fan of thin knee pads. I now use the last version of the Fox launch pro knee pads. They’re super thick and have a hard cover that velcros on. While it’s hard to replicate a bike crash, I’ve had a couple really good slams with these pads and my knees have been unscathed. Super happy with them.

Thanks for this review Iceman. This sounds like exactly what I need.I’m gonna give it a shot. I carry all my pads and helmet and too much gear in a backpack when I’m climbing on the ebike and I’ve been having circulation issues. I think the extra weight I’m carrying up is putting more pressure on the wrong spots.I’ve even been lower the nose of my seat to get more pressure on my sit bones just like what you’re saying but it’s not helping much. The cutout looks quite generous. Would you agree with that? Thanks buddy!

6/17/2025 4:26pm I was first on the list for a Pole Sonni last year. Boxxer on the front, Vivid ultimate with 200 mm of travel on the rear. I’m so pumped l got one. It’s exactly what I was waiting for for my first ebike. I heard Pole might be making a comeback.

I use slime in all my bikes with inner tubes, it’s always worked awesome against goatheads. Always wondered if it would work as tire sealant. I’d like to know what’s the difference between this slime and original slime.

Uswe has the Flow 16 and 25 with back protection that’s removable. I’ve had the 25 for a few year. I dig it, carries all my junk.
