RLS is so effective, that in an independent study, RLS was found to reduce the risk of concussion by 4x on average compared with conventional helmets*** Yet the study linked is 1) Not peer reviewed 2) Not actually published yet 3) Is hugely biased. Quote from the study: "Competing interests: This work was funded by HEXR Ltd. All authors are employees of HEXR Ltd or Dropmatics Ltd, which may benefit from the findings." HEXR is the company behind RLS, so they directly benefit from a study about increased safety from RLS. Also, canyon supplied the helmets for the control group...

I have the 2020 Elite build. The Super Deluxe Select + doesnt have a low speed compression knob. You have a open/close lever but you cant control LSC at all. The shock feels really good stock (RX Tune so they did some tweaks). I dont even use the lockout. The bike just sits in its sag point and stays there when climbing. (IMO). I'm not sure it would help.

you need to know your bikes leverage curve. Check out Antonio's LinkageDesign site to compare your bikes curve to say the Patrol (which the Neg works). If you look at the 2018 Patrol curve you will see how the curve at 10 to 60mm of its travel is a hump(easy to move in the early stage and beginning midstroke)..
