Just a heads up for anyone planning to take the high speed train (KTX) from Seoul to Jinbu who hasn't reserved tickets yet, a lot of the trains are starting to sell out. Easiest way to book is through Korail website or download the mobile app. Both are english friendly. You'll have to print your tickets or scan the QR on the app, screen shots won't work according to the website. Yah I've been doing business over there for about 15 years now, used to go back 2 or 3 times a year, once a year since Covid. I haven't spent any time in the Mapo-Gu area - usually end up in Gangnam, Hongdae and Itaewon for the most part. I land in Seoul on Sunday and am there until Friday morning when I take the train out to the venue, staying at the Intercontinental Alpensia (I think about 10 minutes from the race venue?).
