Sorry for the late reply. I got the notification when I was on holiday and then forgot all about it. The Kirk is pretty impressive. Economical with travel and seems to just work without worrying about it. There's no odd behaviour and the air spring is very well done - soft at the top and feels very linear with no mid stroke wallow. Unfortunately the Kirk came with the wrong tune so I'm a little bit away from the "recommended" settings. It's supposed to be a 03 but I have an 02. I did order it specifically for the bike...

The rims have been faultless. They were probably the easiest set of wheels I've built - laced them up that required very little adjustment. As far as performance goes, I've not noticed a great grip increase (which should theoretically happen with a flatter tyre profile) but they've been solid so no complaints. I'd def recommend them for the money. If money was no object, I'd like to try the a derby rims to try the extreme end of the scale.

The far left wheel looks like a Ksyrium Elite road bike wheel. Can just see a road tyre on there. The tyre on the wheel to the right of the road wheel is narrower. Would bet that as being a 29er Crossmax wheel for a trail bike...
