Nice video, Sidney, thumbs up. And a promising course: That step-down right after the gate takes away some of the advantage the strongest starters such as Graves, Prokop or Rinderknecht usually have, the section in the forest looks pretty rough and un-BMX-ey to me, and I also see various line options. Just the rock garden leaves me guessing, as I see a fast line avoiding it and no real reason not to go for that one.

Thumbs up and props for these impressions of Leogang's course. If it's gonna be wet come race day, those root sections are sure to claim some victims. PS: Like the "beer o'clock" time on that GT clock. Sounds like a call from the good ol' times - and shows that other than road racing mtb racing does without too much of a stiff upper lip.

All American podium? Are you serious? Or did they hand citizenships to Dany Hart and Andrew Neethling? These two are serious non-American podium contenders.

Again, I do not accept the notion that 4cross is struggling at a worldcup level. While that might be true for that one Worldcup race in North America (where the men would not even fill up a 64 roster), it is utterly wrong for the races in Europe. Have a look at last year's numbers - and then repeat in...

Tell that to someone in Czechia, where 4Cross is roaring. Revived? It's not dead at all! Revived by what? Hmmm, okay... Seriously, you guys better discuss why 4Cross has such a hard time in Northern America whereas it does not in Europe.

Honestly, I've never heard a proposal to change BMX to some kind of split course / head2head format. And there it's even eight guys fighting it out on one and the same track. So how come four guys on one track are considered such a problem? I really don't get it. Injury-wise DH is still worse than 4cross, and Affie...

Great gallery, thumbs up. We all know what these bikes look like with the shocks at full extension from trade shows or shop floors. Great to see them at full squish - some pictures even physically hurt from looking at them, I can well imagine the metallic clunk-sounds. What was that, some landing into a compression?

Honestly, quite an americo-centric bunch of opinions here so far... time for my five cents (sorry, bit lengthy)! In Europe, we've got a European 4Cross Series for the first time in 2010, organized by Michal Prokop's manager Zdenek Pol from Czechia. And in the Swiss city of Winterthur, with only a bit over 100'000 inhabitants, we've got two 4Cross professionals...
