The Luftkappe is great and works as advertised. But...my opinion is to save your pennies. The Vorsprung Smashpot increases performance through the roof by comparison! I cannot recommend it enough. The extra grip on the front end is immediately noticeable, as is the reduction in hand fatigue. If you're concerned about it being too linear, the bottom-out control range is pretty huge too for controlling that last third of the stroke. The tradeoff is a minor reduction in front-end feel compared to the Luftkappe-equipped air fork. Little extra weight if you care. I don't. And it's a little pricier. Coil...
