There definitely seems to be a bit of a battle between Contour and GoPro, these are the two main action cameras on the market today. I initially wanted to purchase the new GoPro but ended up getting a amazing deal on the older Contour Roam. The camera feels really solid and I have dropped it a couple of times already without any issues. Recording is really simple, you just push forward the switch and it start recording. The picture quality is really solid and provides great definition even on the 720p setting. The camera works well in all light conditions...
