My best trail ride of the year? Maybe... A few weeks ago myself and two friends (Massimo 'Bubba' Ferro of Aosta Valley Freeride & Jarno Hoogland of Ride with the Locals) rode up and down a mountain in the Aosta Valley. I've done a lot of trail rides over the past few years, but this was on another level... Perfect untouched trails, fall colors so bright I barely noticed the 3-hour climb before, and a mountainous backdrop you just can't make up... German cycling brand THIRTY7EVEN was at the Berlin Bike Show not only with a booth of new products, but also as an event sponsor and race team. The THIRTY7EVEN Youngstars talent team did good with a second, fifth and sixth place while the brand's initiator - multiple World Cup winner Joost Wichman - took first place in the elite category.

An impression of the first Blast Epic Enduro Weekend of 2013 held on the 28th - 31st of March 2013. The Blast is a multi day, non serious Enduro Mountainbiking event for a small group of people. In 2,5 days the riders will do 8 timed stages and ride approximately 100km of sweet Enduro trails. The entire group stays in the same accommodation, with shared meals and good times by the campfire. For me personally, filming this event was quite a challenge because I didn't just had to film the riders, but also take photos and ride the same stuff...

The first race of the 2013 Specialized SRAM Enduro Series took place in Treuchtlingen, Germany. On the 28th of april, world class riders Anneke Beerten (Specialized Racing Enduro Team) and Nicolas Lau (Cube Action Team) showed they were in good form by winning with a comfortable margin.
