Thanks BHowell and CC. I agree, just didn't want to gamble on the wifey's SB130LR. However, she does like that silver link.....for the shiny factor, of course. Guess I know what V-day gift to get now. Lol! BTW...I second jw05's comment on the Optic and I think we'd both make great test mules. Just saying!

Any more info on a longer stroke rear shock? I’d love a little more travel out the back but don’t wanna risk it bottoming out on the frame.

You can always run a 190mm x 50mm shock for a bit more travel if you want. Bryn was doing it. Also, if you get the DPX2, just make sure you don't get the standard base tune offered by Fox. The digressive rebound won't jive well with the progressive suspension on the Optic. It will result in the bike always feeling over-damped during the rebound cycle, even if you open it all the way up. Love your bike by the way! Good call on those tires too!

None at all. Now have a 2021 FOX DPX2 on the Optic. Night and day over the stock RS.
