With a day and a half to prepare to back flip on a loaner Fat Bike for a local commercial, I set out to get used to how it handled and did some filming along the way. I only wish the snow stuck around a bit longer. Fatties Flip Fine...hehehe;)

I got a chance to ride an older Remedy/Scratch Slope Style bike at Trek World 2012 it was everything I thought it would be. Trek again doesn't have plans to make it. However if there is enough interest they might (I have been looking forward to one for a couple of years now). Chime in if it would be on your list of bikes to consider if it were sold as a frame only and maybe it will show up at interbike....

Had an hour to spend at our local skate park in January before my 44th birthday. This is the first ride on my Blackmarket contraband, unfortunately a bunch of video clips were damaged when I edited them so sorry in advance. (You will still get the idea).

Some of this summers dirt jumping clips all rolled into one. It was a dry summer and the dirt had no moisture to keep up on the lips so later in the year I built a wood ramp to have a little more fun. At 44 yrs. old golf might be a little easier on someone my age, and even though I feel pretty banged up sometimes its still to much fun jumping.

Spring weather lead me to a nice wedge shaped rock to mess around on. It was a slick and wet to spend too much time there but it was fun anyhow.

I really got a kick out of this kid that talked me into a showing him a back flip even though I was exhausted. I somewhat under rotated and landed like a ton of bricks but he was still stoked. Made my day.

I just wear a road/xc jersey with pockets, if I don't want to wear a pack. Seems like too much of a hassle to access gear on the fly if it's underneath a shirt. I've been putting snacks/gu/gells under my liner shorts on the leg for years during XC races, so the leg pocket makes sense but seems a little gratuitous, and I have so many cycling shorts, there's no way I could wear that swat gear on every mountain ride, I ride too much.

No, thank you. I will ride witch pack. I hate to have something compresing around my legs or back. There is spine protection in my pack and I don't even want to think what happens if you fall from bike with water bottle and tools etc like this. Kill it before it lays eggs.

Specialized now goes for patent on "jersey with pockets" then goes after every road company that has been making jerseys with 3 pockets on the back since the dawn of time...? Nice work.
