Start of our 6 week trip across North America, first stop was U.S. National Championships in Granby, CO. The weekend was filled with awesome riding and racing from the U.S.' fastest racers. The boys at Sol Vista did a great job preparing the weekend by building amazing and challenging courses for all categories. Unfortunately due to poor organization by our federation we were unable to use some of the obstacles that the SVBC built to help further the gravity progression in the States and we had to settle for some normal "amateur" tracks. All in all the weekend was awesome...

The team got everything together at our San Diego base camp and headed up to Monterey for the Sea Otter Classic.

Take a ride down the Plattekill PROGRT DH track behind Ryan Condrashoff with J.D. Swanguen

Brad and J.D. exercise their Skatepark abilities for the first time this year while Ryan mans the camera, Griz and Kev-air sit on the bench spectating.

Who doesn't love Kirt Voreis? Well we sure do, and so we decided to make a stop off at his house in Bend for a night. After he locked us in his dungeon with some skateboards we were able to get some shredding done with him and Mikey Sylvestri of the Allride Academy on one of their awesome local DH trails!

We made it to the East coast for the second stop of the Pro Gravity Tour, but not after hitting some big bumps in the road(literally and figuratively). Once we arrived at Plattekill we had fun walking the track and getting acquainted with our lines so come race day we would be prepared. All in all the weekend went well for us and we enjoyed our first time on one of the East coast's most legendary mountains.

After an epic day at the Radiation jumps, we headed over to Jeff Lenosky's house for his annual jump jam. All but Ryan was willing to get their bike out in the 200% humidity of New Jersey and decided to take a day off before we made our way to Diablo Freeride Park for the 2010 U.S. Open.

This past weekend at the U.S. National Championships in Sol Vista, CO team rider Sean “Griz” McClendon had a huge crash in his DH race run. Griz was Life Flighted to Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Denver where we would find out he had broken his left Collarbone, Shattered both sides of his pelvis, and dislocated his right hip. He’ll go under the knife a total of 4 times to have his pelvic bones pinned back together. Everybody send good healing vibes and wish Griz the best through this rough time in his life. GET WELL SOON, WE LOVE YOU!!!

After a three week hiatus from life on the road, we reassembled on June 23 with the van, trailer and all members except for our mechanic, Kev-Air. Unfortunately, bad luck struck Keven as he broke his collar bone while pedaling around town in San Diego. Fluke accidents happen to all of us from time to time. Our sights were set for Lake Tahoe to hit the third round of the Pro GRT series at Northstar Resort followed by a week and a half of training in the area to prep for National Champs later this month.
