My first TRS post was flawless in terms of reliability. It didnt even develop lateral play. Unfortunately I sold the bike it was attached to. And it's really unfortunate ethirteen couldnt fix the second one I had properly, because being back on that post was a revelation. With any other post I've used, its very difficult to put the seat down last second when you realize something is coming up. You cant just shove it down with your butt. You have to sit it down like an office chair. With the TRS... quick and so so easy. Someone else please...

I bought the old e thirteen post (spring actuated one) after my crankbros highline crapped out. I had it on a previous bike and it was absolutely wonderful, very fast return and very little effort to push down. Unfortunately, the TRS post i ordered soon developed a problem, ethirteen serviced it, problem recurred, so they sent me a vario. The vario is not as good as the TRS. Slow to come up, takes a lot of force to push down. If you are looking for speed and ease of putting down, nothing I have seen will beat the TRS. In...
