Maybe we should have said "relatively" affordable, but still, compared to EXT's own high-end shocks and others on the market, the price is very competitive for the features and performance you get here. Hence "affordable excellence" was the headline.

We kinda alluded to it in several aspects, but yeah, we didn't have them available in the same dimensions to be able to compare them directly. In short, we'd say that the changes implemented when the Storia went from V3 to V4 have all found their way into the Vecta as well, just with less onerous materials and simplified HBC and top-out solutions. We did test the Storia V4 on a very linear bike where it performed admirably (review is linked here), so chances are the Vecta would do well in that situation as well.

My experience with the ext ARMA mirrors this article. It’s been absolutely excellent, head and shoulders above the dhx2 it replaced. Great to hear the Vecta performs at a similar level but a couple hundred cheaper.
