Also since most rubber is made in the same facility I need a person over in Asia negotiating 26" tires with our logo on em in same tread and rubber compound as the big boys for $9 a pop and we can sell them for $25 worldwide....

Love mine. Based on the interview questions it seems people sometimes forget the Zerode is much more than just a gearbox bike. The gearbox was a clever way to solve the problem of massive chain growth for such a high pivot bike (read that as the most insane bump eating machine ever!). Well, I've only been out twice since I finished building it up so the ride experience included a bit of fiddling with getting my setup just right. I am still tweaking suspension settings since I have never owned a Pike or Kirk before. So far though: It's a size medium, but feels on the larger side, pretty much perfect for me. It pedals really well, and from looking at suspension profiling which suggested it would be squatty I am pleasantly surprised at how well it pedals. It really execrates when you get on the cranks. Yeah but in 2000 a DH fork cost 900-1100 frames were $1750-$2250 now they are $2800-$3300 standard. Everything is more cash $200 bars etc. You can buy a 450F for less than many DH bikes. Selling them at $7K isn't gonna help them grow the market any. Not to mention riding areas are not easy to find in many areas.

$4,400.....ouch. Its crazy bikes are so expensive now. $5K used to get you full XTR handmade in USA. Now it gets you mid grade. Sort of sucks.....
