2/23/2016 12:14am I get out of my apartment, jump on my bike, ride about 10min and I'm at the first of many big trails in the area. If I'm too lazy the closest trail is about 400m from my house, but it's only about a minute long.

I'm not sure that saying, pedal kickback is always bad is true! I ride a Banshee Legend, which has some pedal kickback (you can feel it if you pay attention, but normally I don't notice it) and once a friend of mine, who has nearly the same bike (only small differences, like bars, etc.) and weighs the same as me, lost his chain on top of a trail. I get that Commencal had a hard time competing against bigger brands like Trek or Specialized in the shops, but saying the direct sales model gets them closer to their customers and enables them to provide "best advice and service" is just wrong! I've worked in a bikeshop for quite a while and my experience is that most customers either don't know anything about bikes or think they know a lot but don't (which is worse than the first kind) and would buy utter crap without proper advice from someone in a shop.

1/9/2016 12:34am Hold your horses, he trains all of the Norco DH team as well, so it means nothing. Also the "looks like a session" statement has been applied to every bike ever made, no matter if it actually looks anything like a session or not, so Benedict was probably just trolling, I wouldn't interpret too much into it.

1/4/2016 4:51am The Fischbach - Radon thing is old news, but in the article on mtb-news they also say that Faustin Figaret is another addition to the team. Radon has quite a team there: Nick Beer, Benni Strasser, Fischi, Figaret... all guys that are likely to crack the Top 20 and maybe Top 10 next season and will produce top 30 finishes...
