I took mine for some testing at Mtn Creek the other week. It loved the flow trails and jump line. I got hung up on the proper DH trails I used to ride but that was seven years ago.. more my fault. The 36 didn't track like my old totem did either.. wouldn't hold true on constant rock abuse for me. I got a bit off line. I know he is crazy skilled but Jack Moir pilots his through some rough aussie tracks just fine.
@BlazersDad89 out of interest how tall are you and whats your inseam? I am at the top of the range at 6'3 and trying to convince myself I don't need the XL as I want a bike I can move around easily
Thanks Greg. Was going to say I like to be faster on the downs but actually love both. Now just to work out if the L vs XL with a 50mm stem will work with my 36" inseam and 6'3" height since the Canyon calc fails me too
Greg by chance have you spent time on the Jeffsy 29 enough that you can offer a comparison? The release and availability of the core models has me reconsidering bike choices.. thanks
How tall are you guys on your Large? I am 6'3" with a 36" inseam and have never bought a L in my life.. The canyon calculator says to go Large and I see at 6'4" Moir is on a L on his. I am east coast twisty rocky trails with lots of short burst ups and downs.. I don't think I want to steer anything to big around here so if I can get away with the large that would be great. It would have a 15mm more of reach and 30mm more stack height. I figure also with...
