I am 6'0, 220lb kitted out. I bought the aluminum scout last year. I can echo exactly how they rate this bike even for a big guy. I have ridden my whole life and have bought everything from XC hardtail to freeride. This bike is the sweet spot for someone that loves to ride, who doesn't plan to enter any XC races and loves gnarly technical trails. Even though I could pin it more on big rock gardens if I had more travel but the way this thing handles in corners and technical trails is better than a long travel...
