12/13/2010 9:43am I'm running 2x9 on my carbon Nomad. 24/34 upfront and 11-34 in the back. I tried going 1x9, but some trails are just too steep. Wouldn't mind trying 2x10 at some point. Even considered Hammerschmidt, but found out the VPP is optimized for the middle ring.
