Shifted is a new mountain bike film created by Matt Butterworth and Eric Marciniak that will be released online in the Spring of 2012. Shot primarily across British Columbia, including Kelowna, Vernon, Vancouver's North Shore, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, and Vancouver Island.

Typically during this time of the year in Kelowna, I’m up at the ski hill pretending to ride Rampage lines and roost corners as if I was on my bike. Injecting myself with a sort of self-medicating mental distraction, by straight lining groomers trying to top 125km/hr and sending massive spread eagles over jumps under the chair. But luckily this year we’ve been able to ride all the way into December. This past June while I was filming for Virtu Media's upcoming movie “Shifted,” I crashed on a double back flip and fell pretty hard on my shoulder. I figured it would get better with time, but it never did. After seeing a specialist, I was told I had torn my rotator cuff. I needed to get a specific MRI called an Arthogram which is on a six month waiting list on the government system. I opted to get a private Arthogram that cost $1,200.
