I swapped between 130mm and 140mm air springs a couple times and couldn't really feel any draw back. I also ended up running it in the second to slackest with the 140mm fork. Never ran the Ride-4 in any other settings. Most of the riding by me is sustained climbing followed sustained descending. My intent with this build was more of a light and playful trail bike than a true XC machine. Ultimately I didn't think this bike held up to how it was advertised. The bearings where the shock link meets the seat stay are tiny and didn't hold...
I'm interested to know how going up to 140mm fork affected the bike as a whole. Is it better? Or just 'different'. I see you are running slackest flip chip setting. That must put the head angle at about 64.5°. What is the bike like with 140mm Pike in say the steepest setting. Sorry for all the Q's... I'm justr trying to work out if I go to 140 or leave at 130mm. Thanks.
