This is a look at Lawler Trail in Oakridge, OR! About 7.5 miles of downhill, Lawler trail begins with fast and techy riding through the lush Oregon forest, then finishes with an awesome flow section with built-up berms and small jumps. Out in the Oakland hills lies Joaquin Miller Park where the mountain biking is actually... pretty good! The trails I ride in order are Chapparal, Cinderella, and Big Trees - The three best downhill trails in the park. Here is a little look at riding Larison Rock Trail in Oakridge, Oregon. The ride begins with a mellow 5-mile climb up Larison Rock Rd (2102). As you approach the end of the climb, which seems to take forever by the time you reach this point, you will see an entrance for the trail on your right. Now that you have reached the trail head, you can take a deep breath and smile knowing that you get to descend some 4 miles through the lush Oakridge forest. By the time you finish, you will forget you ever climbed Larison Rock...
